Rema Prasanaa - ! ! VIRGIN GODDESS - KANYAKUMARI

2014-11-07 17

A cape where two seas merge in one ocean,
substantiate feelings of oneness
an amalgamation of soul and heart
one union of love and passion
treasures and possessions shared,
fears and secrets too...
from the domineering exteriors of nature
one breathtaking landscape in expanse
waves grasp frantic whisper of wind and toss
white conch shells, pebbles on colorful sand
one feral rhythm transpires when united
waters divulge their nostalgic elements

From the serene harmony of
heavenly shore, sun captivates
the most splendid sun rise and sun set
alongside saffron clad monks,
their resounding drum beats
emergence of a resplendent fusion
of sun and moon in same horizon
on a full moon day......
exploring meditation of mind, a rock
cave in cradle of nonchalant ocean
there a saint finds real meaning of incarnation

On seaside, one virgin goddess on penance
in vicinity of a temple restraint
no vermilion on her forehead
she on her long atonement over years
waits in sanctum for her divine love
her beautiful face and phenomenal
diamond nose ring shines to shoreline
along with radiance of brass oil lamps
pigeons of love fly from stone pillars
dividing white soft clouds beneath dreamy sky
Kanyakumari, virgin goddess
continue to wait there with eternal aspirations
holding promontory in her reigning grandeur...
