When the wind blows free, that's where I’ll be,
No longer bound to a body unsound.
I’ve risen above the pain and sorrow,
Living forever, now, and tomorrow.
You’ll hear me in the crash of the surf,
And see me in the spring's dark, fresh, turned turf.
Look to the trees that sway over your head,
For it is in their limbs I make my bed.
Listen to the birds, how sweetly they sing,
Feel the comfort deep, as the church bells ring.
I am at peace, do not weep more for me,
I am free from pain, God answered my plea.
So when you have the blue's and you miss me,
Just look around, it is me you will see.
In all nature's beauty, I can be found,
When the wind blows free, I am still around.
