Rose Falcone - DELUSIONAL

2014-11-07 5

Too bad you didn’t think
Before you went and spoke
Too bad you don’t have a clue
of the conflict you provoke

You used the kids but to what end?
And now lost all that’s dear
Forsaking their sweet feelings
For your own doubt and fear

Would you recognize a boundary
If it bit you in the ass
The lines you cross are many
Here’s one you won’t surpass

I never will forgive you
For what you’ve done to them
Whatever was between us
I must now condemn

Your refusal to believe what is
What never should have been
Love tainted from the very start
Your lies made treading thin

My sympathy has turned to pity
For your tormented mind
The baggage that you carry
Mental illness intertwined

The tenacity with which you act
Perverts all that you touch
It makes me ill to think
I ever wanted such.
