Here in the reality
of the public library
she thinks of him
& what
...she'd like to do
to him
& him
...to her.
But observing
the sullen notice
for SILENCE
she steps inside
some imaginary library
inside her
...mind
where she can(& does)
exactly
as she...pleases.
Pleases both
him & her!
A firm hand
placed upon her
...shoulder:
'Are you alright
...madam? '
(A worried librarian
enquiring?)
'Would you like
a glass of water? '
(as tremblingly she tells him)
'Quite...
...all right...thank you! '
'Quite...
...alright! '
she affirms
and with a big grin
gathering up her
books & daydreams
walking suggestively
out into the Spring
... sunshine.
