The accomplishments of Katherine Brinks,
Through the one-hundred and five years of her life.
She was a friend, a grandma, a mother.
She was to one man, a soul mate, a wife.
Through the journey of her days,
She built with her two hands and her heart,
She made memories to share,
Stories that, if only for a second, took her back to the start.
She was the definition of hard work.
A mother & wife, she played so many roles.
Through her faith and her character,
She taught values that strengthened heart and souls.
She could bake with the best of them,
And she wasn’t afraid to put in a long, hard day.
Always the first to rise and the last to fall,
She’s the kind of person you can admire in every way.
One-hundred and five is just one impressive number in her life,
The years she lived to disprove every doubt.
But the number of lives she has touched,
Will remain a number much too high to count.
Twelve children, Two-hundred and forty grand.
She has set an example for so many to remember.
She left us with a legacy of lessons,
And the family she built, that she will guide on forever.
