What's the matter with us?
I don't know what's wrong.
Everything between us is slowly fading
And truly undeniably failing.
Gone are those long phone calls
Which kept us awake till the break of dawn.
The endless chat, the sweet goodnight
And 'I love you' said over the line.
Staring at each other when no one can see
Those little secrets between you and me.
The past filled with precious memories
Which I would've loved to keep.
We've now come to a standstill
Haven't you noticed it yet?
So I'm not gonna lie, and I'm not gonna cry
And say 'maybe it's time to say goodbye'.
