Kelly Sue Davila - What Kind of Addiction is Your Addiction?

2014-11-07 21

Those who seek out more than they should get,
Are the ones who are left with nothing to miss but more to regret,
To realize that you have less than you deserve.
Exsits a limit to when the realization is allowed to occur.

Let those who want to give more than receive,
Be the ones that do not have to face the irony,
The more that you think about it, the more u understand,
Your world is a game in a too small amount of land.

But somewhere in a place not far away,
Is a place where you have all the answers to say,
If you look deep inside, and open your mind
The place had never moved out,
But you left it behind.

Reach for it and try to grasp it before its too late,
Your heart will shut down and close its own gate,
Try to find the key to turn the lock,
Times running out, so you break the clock.
It doesn’t help, the time wont stop,
Panicking doesn’t do shit, so it’s the act you choose to drop!
The gate is down and out of reach,
The life is sucked out of you by a life sucking leech.

The parasite has a name that changes after a while,
You may not recognize it for what it is,
A number way to familiar for you to dial,
It is part of you now, making you feel tired and old,
Try to push it away before it makes you angry and cold.

It may be a drug to your addiction,
But the love and respect it has for you is nothing but fiction.
Outgrowing is the right thing to do,
But what if your grown up?
Then I guess your screwed.
