“Tie.”
she queries
“Tie.”
I
affirm.
“In Chinese
...lĭ ngdài.”
I cast the lĭ ngdài
aside.
I stroke her
thigh softly.
“Thigh! ”
I sigh.
“Dàtuĭ ! ”
she smiles
“Wo tànqì! ”
I sigh.
We both act out our sighing.
“Wo tànqì! ”
we sigh together.
“Wo tànqì.. gĕ i nĭ de dàtuĭ ! ”
(“I sigh for...your thighs! ”)
She laughs.
“Tàitai! ”
(“Wife? ”)
“Tàitai! ”
(“Wife! ”)
