Deep Thinking
When I think of life and death
I get lost, like a young child at a new school
In a universe of stars
Ambitions, emotions and beliefs.
What will happen when we finally draw last breath,
Will we be welcomed by God?
Or just rot as a corpse in the ground?
These questions, like a million grains of sand, dwell in my head
When I think too hard,
I leave the subject unfinished,
Always and forever
And go off and live my life
Are we just a speck of dust in this universe?
Or is there a special meaning?
Are we here for a reason?
And if so, why?
So many questions
So little answers
But we shall dwell forever
On Life and Death.
