I dive into
the mountain
shatter its reflection
its clouds scattering...rippling
the cold grey water
closes over
my human
form
as the mountain
quickly now
reforms
and its clouds
return like sheep.
there is only silence
where I have vanished
the surface reflecting
only stillness
and the stopping
of Time.
Centuries
seem to pass
as I
finally
return to the world
with a gasp
my eyes drinking in
the mountain
laughing with sunshine.
