Do I live by the sea?
No, not at all…
Then why do I see
Seagulls swooping down
On me
Where do I reside?
In a city
With buildings side by side
Streets with so many vehicles
They almost collide
What is the deal?
What is the appeal?
Here they find a meal
The sight is almost
Surreal…
Scanning from a light post
Eyeing a fast food parking lot
Food debris becomes a host
The menu differs from the coast
Seagulls scavenge fries and toast
The sound of their raves
Brings a surge of waves
Eat and satisfy your craves
Welcome to world of concrete
and microwaves
