I need you but you are not here.
The world is crashing around me and I am filled with fear.
I lost my faith but I held on tight.
It has been ripped from my hands.
My heart, it still bleeds.
The emotions I have I cannot control.
I have a rage within me, it burns hot and full of hate.
I knew this day would come.
It was bound to happen, the day I would need you and you would not be here.
I need you and you are not here the world is closing in on me and I am filled with fear.
Hope I have forgotten. The future seems bleek.
All is dark and I am weak.
I cry for help but no one is near. I need you and you are not here.
Life is heavy, I cannot bare. My breath is lost and no one cares.
I needed you and you did not come.
Alone I stood, I tried so hard, did what I could. My dreams have crumbled, ash they have become. Fear has taken me, away I go.
My knees have hit the ground, my smile no longer glows.
