David Hagberg - You and I

2014-11-07 4

Remember that day? that night? You and I?

Sunday. Resturant.Western food, wine, drinks. Perhaps too many, perhaps not.

We got to talking. Words. About life. Love. Dreams. More wine, more important things to say. You: vibrant that night, as was I. Both so full of life, young and full of life. You and I.

The two of us. You and I: drifting freely. Taxi. Bar. Drinks. Music. Guided yet blinded by the neon lights of Tokyo. Swept away. Forever young and alive in the moment.

Strolling back to the hotel caring little for the rain.

One never see the stars in Tokyo. Yet that night they where spilled all over the ginza, an entire galaxy illuminating our path. Guiding us home. You and I.

Sex. Making love. Unified. You and I.

Standing on the balcony, the city below. Full of love. Full of life. Endless possibilities. Moments like these are forever. A hundred thousand years from now that moment of ours will still have existed.

You and I, etched into the very fabric of existance.

We all die. As was your fate as is the fate of all us humans. But moments are forever.

Never was there a better day.
