The night the world became ours....
Ours alone....
We drew the curtains.
You and I shut the world out,
And we turned to each other.
As I saw your look,
So warm,
So tender,
Meant only for me,
I allowed the softly sensual silk
To slide smoothly from my satin shoulders,
Felt it puddle perfectly at my feet.
I stepped out of my silken anchor,
Into your waiting harbor,
And the world became ours....
Ours alone.
When the fingers of the light of dawn
Slowly inched their way across our
Love tumbled covers,
We laughed softly to ourselves,
In childish glee.
I turned back into your arms,
And we left the curtains closed.
