Wolf he is known by at Deadwood
A cowboy town of sorts where life is good
But this tale takes place in another spot
And why David starts to plot
You see Wolf loves to ride his horse
And Wimbledon Commons is his course
But one day the tale turns sour
Because Wolf's life changes in seconds not hours
It was the day before a trip with Dodgy Dave
That Wolf was bucked and the outcome grave
Wolf landed hard...he ended up in the hospital
The horse was spooked it was accidental
So Wolf couldn't go on the trip
This time this was one he had to skip
It made Him sad to think so
That he was left behind all alone
But we all know Dodgy Dave
And his silly side...His claim to fame
Dave went on his trip without Wolf his friend
He had to leave him so he could mend
But while David was away on his trip
He couldn't help thinking how to give Wolf some zip
He found a rocking horse at the store
And a Indian doll that someone made clothes to resemble Wolf more
Some one jokingly said Wolf's horse was spooked by a Womble
So another character was added to the ensemble
If you don't know what a Womble is
It's a fuzzy little children's storybook character quiz
I guess they like to collect garbage and such
Maybe that was why the horse spooked so much
So Dodgy Dave and some friends
Wrapped up the gift to give Wolf in the end
They wrapped it up tight in a box with Christmas paper
To give to Wolf and remind him of his caper
Now whenever Wolf feels blue
He looks inside his box and turns a new hue
A warm and happy color appears
As he laughs and thinks of his peers
He now is thankful for his friends so dear
That they took the time to give him some cheer
