Waiting for the sound of your feet
But all I hear is the insistent wail
of the rain(If you can call it that!)
Probably if I look hard I'll find that
you've come and gone...
Those might be your foot prints in the mud & I
know I'm right.
I guess I've missed you just by a minute or so.

But all I see is the jagged lightening
in the sky(It's more like hell today!)
Probably you had hidden behind that big tree
to surprise me...
Yeah, that might be the whiff of your shadow & I
know I'm right.
