a girl was born
she had ambitions
she had a passion
worked her whole life for greatness
but was shot down
her heart was broken
but she got up again
and asked for more
she pushed back harder
but ran into a wall
she fell once again
life in all its cruelty
had ridiculed her
she got up slowly,
and kept moving fore ward
she had a will of steel
she wanted her dreams to come true
and they sat at the top of a tower
on the top sat the reality of her dreams
dreams of greatness
she charged up the stairs
but was pushed back down
she cried,
but got back up again
her heart wanted this more than anything
she had a passion
and she followed it
she never gave up
everyone frowned upon her
she was told to get a real job
she was told to quit
failure found its way to her at each attempt
she started to loose heart
but she remembered her promise
and so she pushed herself
she climbed the tower
and discovered greatness
she looked down upon the people
and they looked up to her
she held up her arms
and cried to the people
I AM GREAT
and the people cheered
she never died
she lived for centuries
her body may have disappeared
but her memory was treasured
forever...
