Scarlett Treat - Night Dancing

2014-11-07 1

I danced with a star last night.
I wore a shimmering, silver gown,
Made of stardust and moonbeams,
And wearing a cloak
Of puffy white clouds.

We waltzed across the sky,
That star and I,
Playing hide and seek,
Dipping and swaying
In time to a heavenly chorus
Only we two could hear.

Our shadows tripped the light fantastic
Across the clouded heavens,
And mingled with the play of light
Which danced across the night.
