Barry Van Allen - Falling Rain

2014-11-07 1

Lazy August day today,
I stopped along the way,
thinking that I had,
a thing or two to say.

It's hard to learn to play,
that game in someone else's way,
life will never be the same,
as it was yesterday.

The gathering of serious,
is ganging up on me,
I find it most mysterious,
that they knew when I was grieving.

I never told a soul,
that today I wasn't whole,
it is as if they smelled the blood,
like the sand shark from the mud.

I 'm scared the day will never come,
when I'll forget and just have fun,
and embrace a distant pain,
amidst the falling rain.
