she is made of cigarettes and magic - The End of the World

Somehow I've been hit.
It's not as bad as it seems though.
Sometimes things look worse than they really are.
But look at all of the blood in my hair.
Head wounds always bleed more (you learn that in nursing school) .
I should probably put my palm against my head to hold my brains in.

O Man

That's a lot of blood.

Head wounds always bleed more.
How did I do it?
I didn't even feel it.

This is really gonna disrupt my plans.
I still have that bathtub to scrub.
Have to make it nice, white, and shiny.
I guess I could do it with one hand.
And if it drips I could turn the water on.
Make it swirl on down the drain - good as new.

I was trying to help bandage
Suzie's knee and Bobby's elbow
When it occurred to me that
All of that warm stickiness was everywhere.
Almost comforting
Almost like home

But I turned my head so they couldn't see.
I turned so fast I made my head spin.
Must be from all of the blood loss.

Now all I know is that they are gone
And the world is awful lonely when the
Only people there are to talk to are
Six-foot, talking cockroaches.
