What the hells happened to the world today?
Seems like God’s packed his bags and went away,
Well at least Paris did some time,
Better than Pete being in the magazines all the time,
We got terrorism on our minds twenty four seven,
It’s bad enough knowing that there aint no heaven,
You ever had that chill go down your spine?
When you know your not gonna be around all the time,
Well to me that aint fine I wanna say something make it shine,
Do something that might be kind,
Like find Madeleine that poor little child,
Or take away all the pain and suffering in a world that’s wild.
Say amen to a God that doesn’t exist,
Say I love you to an oncoming fist,
Say thank you and please to your mam,
Or write a positive word on your hand.
What the hells the excuse for our stupidity?
Is it Gods poor record of miracle ability?
Well at least Beyonce’s got Jay-Z,
And at least I got my license for my TV,
Bush, Blair and Brown all standing in a circle,
Tightening their grip on the east till it goes purple,
You ever had that feeling when you just wanna cry?
Fall into someone’s arms and just calmly die,
I wanna do something, take away the pain,
Bring back that little girl Sarah Payne,
Instead of listening to an American that’s insane.
