To prove you are a better man
Than your Father
Could ever have been.
And yet,
In that proving,
You become the man
Your Father wanted you to be.
You have the strengths he wanted you to have,
You have the morals he wanted to instill,
And with your big heart,
You have love enough to share.
So thanks, DAD,
For what you give,
For the examples you set,
And the love you share.
For my DAD, the most special one, for RAY, the farmer who feeds us all, and BRAD, the mechanic who can fix anything, for Larry, the best big brother, and for all other Fathers, everywhere, who stick it out, doing the best they can, and for BEING THERE WHEN NEEDED! !
