I search for a drop, to quench my thirst,
An ocean, I find, bringing joy into heart.
Like a child, before waves, wide eyed I stand,
Euphoric, enthralled, yet pangs of fear hidden within.
Standing in midst of sand castles, my dreams,
I fear to step ahead, into the water, cool.
The world, shackles of iron, holds me back,
Mind boggled, “TO BE OR NOT TO BE.! ”
To swim against tide, to move against wind,
To listen to my heart…I fear, the WORLD ‘i’ fear.
Thus I stand, before the ocean, my love, knowing not-
What to do, to move ahead or to turn back…
Then, I take a step, a step behind, my eyes blurred with tears,
The ocean, now a mirage, and me, just a part of the crowd.
