Ted Sheridan - Nosferatu's Transfusions Of Eternal Love

2014-11-07 2

An exsanguinous and destitute
malignant spirit has consumed
me of my lifeblood and energy
as if by shrewd trickery or debauchery
this demonic pair of incisors
lashes at my throat and groin
with great precision and expertise
i know not why as yet...only that it does
though while walking late past the hour
when all light has been laid to rest
and all sane people have gone home to bed
my drunken state forfeits too freely
my mind's guile and body's acumen
to the night and its creatures of masquerade
as they parade with their open mouths
of denture ware and pyrotechnics
lustfully i beg to be detained indefinitely
in spite of my desire for a quick and merciful end
they seek solace to their unquenchable thirst
within my neck's naked hemophilia
and i offer up my last dropp of blood and alcohol
to their fiendish eccentricities of sycophantic horror
there is no peace with immortality
alas.... i thought i knew her well
as another life is terminated with one swift precisioned bite___
The vampires are always those who say they love us the most....
for a very good reason.....
