Patricia Gale - Lover's Crown

2014-11-07 0

Oh for the twilight to shine once again upon thee
Alas once more ride beneath the silver glow of the moon
To hold thy hand and thou would never flee
Captured by a sweet serenade of a lover’s swoon
How oft’ I think upon the time
When’st thine eyes shall never leave mine

As I drift away to slumbers call
I dream when’st we shall meet upon this land
And my heart and soul shall fall
When’st my fingers shall intertwine in thy hand
Mine heart melting like a candle to the heat
Passion stirring that shalt last until they lay me down
Then me’ life I knowest shall be complete
When I have won the Lover’s Crown
