I would sacrifice my soul
For the promise of a kiss.
I would catch and hold the stars
For a woman such as this.
Mountains can now move,
Tides can now be stemmed.
When life shows her no mercy,
With mine I will defend.
We can not be beaten,
Now we cannot fail.
A warm embrace, a caress of her face
Proves to all we will prevail.
A slumbering breath, a whisper, a sigh
And a tear rises to my eye.
I've got it bad
No, good - surely
Oh, you know what I mean!
