Sunlight streams through the windshield,
As I drive into the sunrise of life,
The beam of the spotlight although bright,
Doesn’t compare to the beauty of the moon tonight.
Embracing the future with each turn of the wheel,
As I dream and wonder if my path is right,
The sunshine encourages me to stay warm as the sun,
Till the sun sets on this life, I will remain on the run.
God knows my destination at the end of the road,
As I strive to stay focused and stay totally aware,
Are the clues he is uncovering leading me to you?
Could you be my future that My Lord finds true?
