Ananda Alves - Perfect Drug

2014-11-07 3

She's got a picture of him on her desk
She tries to write but she can't
His eyes drags hers into them like a magnet

'Could you stop hauting me? ' asks she
But those blue eyes are there
Piercing her, hurting her
They are everything she can see

'I won't stare at you anymore! '
And she faces the paper, avoiding the curse
Tries to write a few lines but it doesn't work

Pale white skin, dark messed hair
Sculptured nose, lips full of desire
And, oh, those blue eyes...
All she knew was they set her on fire

She drops the pencil, head over heels
'Without you I'm nothing' that's how she feels
He's the grave with her own hands she'd dug
'I'll never let you know you're my perfect drug'
