Blossoms Of Forget-Me-Nots
When music of the lyre cease
And all my songs are sung,
Will you remember me my love
Those days we lived as one?
When the wild blue flowers are in bloom
And the bulbul chirps its song,
Will you remember me my love
When our heart were beating as one?
When the day draws near
With the setting sun,
And you see the fire flies glow,
Will it remind you of me my love,
And how we both loved this show?
I now hang on your wall
In a 2D- frame all set,
If you wish, remember me my love,
If you don’t, - forget.
Today I sit to pen these lines,
Which should you wish to read,
You would hear me sing my song
Without any grief .
These verses remain as my gift for you,
My sweet blossoms of forget-me-nots, -
Adieu! Adieu!
