Lawrence S. Pertillar - Internal Divisions

2014-11-07 0

The philosophy on paper works,
But the intimacy of it is missing.
The views projected,
Are not the ones reflected.
And those rejected...
Are spurned by a mongrelness.

A blended mixture,
With wishes to be pure.
A way of life...
Endured but not right,
Enforced yet divorced from a naturalness...
Fights to survive,
And tries to hide internal divisions inside!

Criticized and yet...
No one accepts what is correct!

The philosophy on paper works,
But the intimacy of it is missing.
The views projected,
Are not the ones reflected.
And those rejected...
Are spurned by a mongrelness.

And what is marketed as the best,
Cracks and crumbles from insecure unrest!
Observed in its isolation...
By those around the World!

A blended mixture,
With wishes to be pure.
A way of life...
Endured but not right,
Enforced yet divorced from a naturalness...
Fights to survive,
And tries to hide internal divisions inside!
And this isolation...
Is observed,
Around the World!
Observed,
Is a way of life disturbed!
