emily summers - Fall (about a friend)

2014-11-07 1

Falling through the bitter air,
so pure,
so unfair,
nothing to clutch onto,
freefalling,
I see the ground getting closer,
I can't do anything to stop my fate,
I'm gliding through the wind,
Nobody can catch me,
I'm inches from the cement,
my mind is vacant,
no thoughts occupy my mind,
apart from the fact that I'm going to die,
My scull crashes into the hard ground,
the coldness of the wind smashes onto my helpless body,
I want to tell my mum I'm sorry,
I didn't believe it'd end like this,
I couldn't give my boyfriend one last kiss,
why was I such a coward,
why couldn't i face up?
I wish I could turn back time,
I've been so selfish,
why did I jump off that bridge?
