Still, silent, radiant in myself I sat,
all, in my knowledge; in my love, all things;
and yet I loved to play at love;
so made my worshipper, my lover.
Now my worshipper, my dearest one,
is become the mirror which we share
glancing, laughing with ourselves,
laughing with each other's self
in the mirror of the memory
which is the loving heart.
