Shelley L Baxter - *3* Wounds like still waters run deep...

2014-11-07 1

Ungodly 'pride', 'prejudice' and 'pain'
all must be drained to start over again,
otherwise how can one learn?
How can one let go of their wound?
No, don't forget it...Just seal its tomb!

Wounds lie deep within cold hearts
but when one feels it and falls apart-
that is when hot tears roll down cheeks,
a life worth living, the starting point to seek.

Dont stitch it up just climb inside!
dont walk around self relient with pride.
If you do confusion will clutter your mind,
it cant be resolved and you will pine!

Immerse yourself into your gaping cut
discovering past pains is how your found.
It is how you learn what your made of!
Its how you discover the you-so far unfound!
