Never has pain felt so riveting.
as i drive in my car i can only describe the pain i feel as emptiness.
never has the night looked so dark
the sky cold and gray with no stars left to shine.
There is no moon light to brighten the dark shadows on the trees.
as i close my eyes to sleep
i wonder what makes people forget about others feelings.
Tomorrow i know i have to hide the tears
for during the sunlight hours
as the rays come threw the clouds
i know they will not be strong enough to chase away
chase away the clouds that linger over my empty heart.............
