Note-Not meant to offend. This was written only as research for project I am working on.
Teasing and taunting
Taken just a little bit too far
Showing off just a little too much skin sometimes
Some men would say that it's a sin
It's not a crime
To punish or take the lady in question up on her offer
A twisted logic or the rantings of the insane?
What is it really?
When on a jury faced with this question
A man's life in the balance
How would you answer?
Do some women deserve to be raped?
What if she were his wife?
Legally, would that give him the right?
To claim her sexually
Whenever
Wherever he choose
Even if she said no?
Even if she did't want his carnal attentions?
Where and when should the line be drawn?
Man or woman?
To whom does the answer to this question really belong?
Is it really all so black and white?
Do some women really deserve to be raped?
What do you think?
What if it were your mother, sister, or aunt?
One who you knew always acted the whore before
Would you defend her honor or call forth her lack of it?
Placing the blame of an awful crime on her shoulders
Ignoring her tears and her pleas
Judging her guilty for leading a once good man on
On down a devil's path to a cruel, cruel downfall of his life
Who would you say is the real victim?
Does it always have to be the man or can it sometimes be the fault of the
weaker sex?
How would you answer this question if you were in the shoes of his wife or
girlfriend?
Or even him?
On trial for your freedom?
How would you answer?
Guilty or innocent?
Do some women deserve to be raped?
