Flower, oh Flower, the bud of your bloom shakes and quivers
to life, silently blossoming into your profound glory of
color and radiance for the whole of the world to see.
Basking in the warm ray of the sun, you cast your beauty upon
the fields of green, confident that your splendor will last
for all time.
Days pass to months and weather has taken its toll within
your heart that once stood against the wind with strength
and courage, only to be mocked by nature for it is nature
that reminds one of there frailty.
Vibrant colors that once shone so bright, now fades with every
pedal you release. Silently dying among others that flourish,
you succumb to your fate as you lay what was once beautiful,
to rest.
