What Really Matters...
I've made up my mind
To close my eyes, listen and see what I can find
I refuse to not to pout
I have the sudden urge to stand out
The feeling inside me builds even stronger
I choose to no longer
Be afraid to fly like a dove
Raising my wings out to those above
Showering them with love
From the heavens above.
I show that I unconditionally care
Even when things around me seem off, I do not stare;
When things get unfamiliar, I trust and take a dare
Showing others not to be afraid of God's infinite glare
The battles are always there;
We're always going to find ourselves in some fog
Just believe and trust in God
For when the trumpet sounds we all can join and shout
Those feelings of being lonely and evermore sadder
Won't exist because we stood out for God
And that's all that ever really matters!
