Pam Thomas - Wisdom Learned

2014-11-07 0

Following a path and wisdom earned, going headstrong towards
the future with confidence of what’s been learned. Loved and lost,
with many costs, there’s nothing left to hurt inside. With nothing new
under the sun comes another love that must be won. With false shields
guarding the heart, plunging in feet first forgetting the painful part.
Laying upon the alter yet another sacrifice is made, hoping upon hopes
the price not to high paid.

Wide eyed and blissful ignorant as a child, the wager is upon the table
will it all be worth wild? Time marches on and dreams begin to die,
prayers are said diligently and sent to the sky. Promises are broken, faith begins
to wane, fears from the past begin to infect the wounds again.
But what of the fairytale endings and glass slippers and such,
the mind begins to reel, the truth has proven to much.
What of what was yearned, what of Wisdom Learned?
