I’ve kept it all wrapped up…
cocooned safely in warm cotton wool,
so no-one can hurt it or break it again…
no-one these strings can pull.
I want to let you open the safe,
let it see rainbows and bright sunlight.
It has been far too long buried in time,
Kept hidden, and out of sight.
So, this is my greatest gift to you,
to be together as one, and never to part.
I give you the rest of my lifelong love,
take the key to unlock my heart…
