chad fisher - Her Soul Touched His

2014-11-07 4

her soul touched his, and then the air was filled with a strange curious thing,
but before the curious (cloud I'll call it) , her voice never cruel loved to sing,
the awakening hour, the man rolled on the bed to turn, and the woman asleep- her breast
moving into a connection that had already been made strong touched his chest,
she awoke, and was neither startled nor did she fear,
how close he was to her body and soul, oh so near.
her hand caressed his long brown hair,
his forehead wrinkled with thought so deep
and she pressed her lips in the center there,
he knew in that moment, that this was a time he would keep,
a time he'd remember when he grew old,
a time more precious than silver or gold,
and she felt the beauty of him, her thin finger twirling his goatee,
as he arose, still half undressed moving toward the morning cup of coffee,
the sunshine rays creeped softly in, under the lavish curtain of their bedroom window,
beckoning for the morning to begin, when in two people's eyes time was slow,
she arose in spirit with him, and tiptoed behind him blowing him kisses unsparing
he turned around and saw more than her face or smile, but saw deepness of love unerring.
