Delilah Miller - How to Compliment A Girl

'Sell your cleverness and buy bewilderment. ' - Rumi

That's ME.
I'm tired of being smart or pretty, or funny, or sweet, or dirty
or whatever it is you think I am.

But I love when you tell me that I have something you cant even put a finger on.
Get rid of that smooth-talk and status-quot compliments.
Give in to being bewildered and amazed by love and people.
We deserve it after all the work we've done to find each other.
I don't care if the world is wild and scary.
We're safe and comforting.
And you can't help but love me.
I will promise that,
I can't help but trust you.
