I knew that you were hurting.
That your life had become so disconcerting.
So I held you tight when you needed to cry
And wouldn't let you just lay down and die.
Let me tell you that I didn't mind
Helping you through those tough times.
I'm just so happy that you are over your pain and sorrow,
And are looking forward to a better tomorrow.
