drishti magoo - TRAPPED

2014-11-07 3

I feel trapped,
Behind the bars.
Life stands, facing at me,
mocking at me,
through the bars.

I tried extending my hand,
to catch the mirage of the beautiful life,
Gasping to touch the life’s colour,
And envy the butterfly that’s FREE to flutter,
Allowed to sit on any flower,
To taste the nectar, sans, saur….
But, mah flower has drooped down,
Nodding to reasons when supposed to frown.

Once, I was a baby,
Growing into girl,
And now a YOUNG lady…

Bound by lively, worldly clutches,
Not even a permit to display the grudges!

' IT ' has come to mere existence,
Waiting, stagnant, for the good riddance…
