Dear Lord -
When will I learn to mend my ways?
To keep my thoughts to myself
Not to force myself onto others
To let men live their own lives
To not be judgemental;
Dear Lord -
When will I see the light?
The beauty in diversity
The wisdom of my fellow man
The uniqueness of each spirit
The truth in living deliberately;
Dear Lord -
When will I learn to be content with myself?
To not rely on others for my happiness
To learn to accept my weaknesses
To be grateful for my strengths
To cherish this life you've given me;
Perhaps at the end of this existence
I will have learned what I came here to learn................
I'm trying so hard to be a good student
Please point me in the right direction
And help me to find my way.
