Who is your wife
In this starless life?
Will she bring a smile
Or a dowry of heartbreak and strife?
My first cousin told me
When we were both small children
You have to have someone
Special in your heart
And not forget her.
Now the joyless years roll on
And the one I want to kiss is gone,
Humanity is fragile like expensive chinaware
Falling against the ground.
When sadness accumulates
Like dust in an unkempt house,
You feel like God has let you down.
