What you wanted,
So I gave you everything -
All the poems I could write,
All the songs I could sing,
And all my soul.
I wanted your love so badly,
But now you are gone.
I couldn't stop you.
I couldn't bring you back,
And wouldn't want to.
I have hurt for so long,
I have forgotten
What numbness feels like.
