Deep down in the
Abyss of nothingness
The opening through this maze of mad bliss.
Where I have not changed
But know I am not the same,
Ice fortresses molten by the echo of your name.
My spinning heart reels
With poetry of forgotten lore
Dreaming dreams never dreamed before.
Written for a jewel
More radiant than the sun
Caressing thin velvet ever and anon.
Dancing with God
Like an enlightened acolyte,
A parade of light
Marching across the swelling night,
In flawless beauty your spectre compels,
In an eddying of voices
And silver-lined bells.
Unrest plagues me as the owls mourn,
Awaiting you to grab me into the moon
And leave me forlorn
To your touch.
The touch that means so much.
Please, take me to the waves of Starless Beach,
Fiery kisses lain all across the shore
Being more than my soul could ever endure.
Usher me to the dawn of early grace,
The true incense of an embrace.
Between these city walls
Is this dying dream,
My world is more full of weeping
Than it may ever seem.
Drinking forbidden nectar
From a forbidden flower,
Climbing Archangel's ladder
To the sky's sultry sweet-sour.
So I kiss dark tears away,
And I remember each dead smile
And I remember each dead scene,
And I remember you, my dead queen.
