cookies and oranges everywhere
joy of Christmas in all hearts
aunt and oncel write letters and cards
carousel horse and honey bee
candles flicker in the Christmas tree
red socks hang near the fireplace
and fresh fir-green spreads joy and grace
shh! calm! calm! prick up your ear
the chimney rustles – Christmas is near
