At day, at night, when the birds take flight,
We wouldn't have a life without light.
In candles, in oil lamps, from the sun it comes,
Its worthy to all, not just some.
Extreme beauty, extreme warmth and heat,
It caters to a hungry man, more than raw meat.
Different shades and colours, a rainbow forms,
With the very presence of light a baby is born.
Light is beautiful, an extrememly strong force,
Light is there for eternity, an everlasting energy source.
