A relationship will crumble into dust
For any loving couple without trust
'Trust me' she said
Only trust was not implanted in his head
'Trust me' she said
But every time he felt another was in her bed
'Trust me' she said
With them only days away from being newly wed
Each minute her phone rang
'Trust me baby' she sang
Placing down the phone with a bang
With each 'Where were you? ' question
'Trust me baby', was all she would mention
With each 'Who were you with? ' question
'Trust me', was her mode of explanation
And his expression!
Was not one of passion!
But of a man on a mission
To make a certain decision
'My friend relax', so his friend said
'Your face looks taxed, trust her', the friend said
Listen I think you need to readjust
Equip yourself with some trust
Or end up hating each other with utter disgust
Then his phone rang
Then his phone sang
It was his woman asking him where he was
Should he answer or should he hang
‘Baby trust me’, he said
Or this feeling I have for you will oxidize and rust
‘Baby trust me’, he said
Before our relationship goes bust
Today, Today, between the two
There is trust
They’ve found again what they once lost
